We all know that eating right and exercise are the keys to a healthy lifestyle. Exercise, in any form, is helpful. But eating healthy is, to say the least, a challenge. Based on the new guidelines from the FDA, our meals should look like the image to the right.
But what about between meals? Snacks can sabotage even the best laid nutritional plans. Ideally, healthy snacking would mean carrot sticks, an apple, or some string cheese. But cravings often direct us to saltier or sweeter treats like chips, crackers or chocolate.
